What are Schedules?

Schedules are simply a small weekly calendar that allows the administrator to specify in 30 minute or 60 minute increments when a specific Individual Access Policy, Custom Access Policy, or Quota should or should not be in effect.

For example, if you wanted to create a Custom Access Policy that denied users access to sites classified as Gambling during working hours, but allow access during lunch and non-working hours, you would simply create a schedule with the appropriate times selected.

By using Schedules, you can make the restrictions or permissions in a policy Active or Inactive depending on your specific requirements.
