To Create a New Quota

1. Right-click on the Quotas container object in the bt-WebFilter Management Console and select ‘New’ then ‘Quota’. (Alternatively, you can select the ‘Quotas’ container object and select ‘New’ then ‘Quota’ from the ‘Action’ menu of the Management Console.)

2. Name the Quota as desired

3. Select the desired ‘Period of Validity’ for the Quota

4. Select the desired ‘Severity’ option

    Note: You can use the following options independently or together depending on your requirements however whichever value is met first will be applied.

5. If you want to control access based on bandwidth used, enter the ’Bandwidth Limit’ for the Quota

6. If you want to control access based on the amount of time, enter the ‘Time Limit’ for the Quota

7. If a combination of both is desired, complete both fields

8. Click ‘Apply’ then ‘OK’
