Right-click on the file and select Open With > Notepad
-
Once the file opens in notepad, locate the item labeled CurrentServer and change the value to the new server’s name
-
If you are installing on a 64-bit server, please change the Program Files directories to Program Files (x86)
-
Save and then close the file
-
Continue on to the instructions below
Importing the Settings to the New Server
-
On the new server machine, launch the bt-WebFilter console
-
Right-click on bt-WebFilter and select All Tasks > Settings Import
-
Select the location where you previously saved your exported data. (Copy the exported folder to the new server machine before importing the settings.)
